02:07:17
Michelle:
You better stop it!
02:07:19
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) The Dominican Puerto Rican princess, the star of stars
tonight.
02:07:23
Michelle:
Whatever!
02:07:24
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Moisturized like a princess.
02:07:27
Michelle:
Moisturized where'd you get that one?
02:07:29
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Look at you you're all gleaming.
02:07:33
Michelle:
Well you know you got to look hot.
02:07:38
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Well, for the fifty most beautiful we picked the most
incredible people who have, who have their moment. This year Michelle took what
some people would consider a risk by taking a TV show role when she's been such
a major movie star. So now she, she took that risk, it paid off and this is
her year. And she's going to take off into the next dimension, to the next,
I think her next plan is intergalactic girl power.
02:07:58
Michelle:
He's such-you're such a pindar man.
02:08:10
Michelle:
Oh Jennifer (Lopez) of course, did you see that cover? Hello. Work. Um, well
at the end of the day she's my favorite actually.
02:08:21
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Well Jennifer is the most famous.
02:08:23
Michelle:
She's like, she's like the Spanish Madonna. That's hot. I think she, she embodies
the Cleopatra for our culture anyway. And I think that that's important you
know? America, and, and the world has like a lot to see from the Latino generation.
This year I think is, is, is really like poignant especially because you have
the browning of America, you've got you know supposed illegal aliens trying
to you know make some money and work here, you've got all this political controversy
going on around the world and I just feel like you know, thirty five percent
of the population is Spanish, it's like a lot of things are changing around
the world and I just feel like the love that little Latin flavor, that little
salsa is going to start showing it's face in a whole new light in the next ten
years and I feel like we're going to make a worldly impact and I'm glad to be
a part of it. Rock on.
02:09:34
Michelle:
Latin lovers. You're over here thinking about-I'm like well Alfonso Cordon,
I'm thinking directors and people who make shit happen, you know Robert Rodriguez,
those guys are hot to me, not just because of like looking hot but cause they're
married but um you know? They're geniuses.
02:09:55
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Well you know what there are so many different men--
02:09:59
Michelle:
I'm attracted to geniuses, I could care less what you look like.
02:10:07
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) No, the thing is that some people that you do recognize
are Ricky Martin obviously and people of that whole, and Mario-of Extreme Makeover,
and there's other people that you may have never heard of, they're actually
soap stars who are hugely famous in other countries, who are very, very good
looking and very-but beyond good looking, they're doing something back to society,
they're helping people-
02:10:24
Michelle:
Twenty five percent of the world's audience is in America, people forget that.
The rest of the world is a nice crispy seventy five percent
hey, hey!
01:10:33
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Enrique Murciano
Without a Trace, Cuban.
02:10:37
Enrique Murciano:
(Actor) How are you?
02:10:44
Enrique Murciano:
(Actor) Some of the women I'm excited to meet? She's right here. What, what
you have to ask? You have to ask?
02:10:52
Enrique Murciano:
(Actor) She's like a, she's like a Kit Kat bar but melted in your pocket.
02:10:56
Michelle:
Stop it!
02:10:57
Enrique Murciano:
(Actor) You pull it out, it leaks everywhere but it tastes as sweet as ever!
02:11:00
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Really creamy.
02:11:00
Enrique Murciano:
(Actor) Creamy! Creamy!
02:11:00
Michelle:
That's not right!
02:11:46
Michelle:
That's not beautiful to me, you could be hot and look really, really sexy, have
soft skin and really young lips and just a really hot body, and at the end of
the day if I look in your eyes and you don't have spirit, you're ugly to me
and I feel intelligence also comes with it, wisdom, age usually gives people
beauty. Um, a lot of things that are weird to some people to me are beautiful.
And I think that that is, that's pretty much, you know how they say that the
eye of the beholder? It's so true you know.
What do you do to make yourself seem beautiful?
02:12:25
Michelle:
Well, see it depends what kind of beautiful you're talking about because there's
different types, you know? To be aesthetically beautiful, I have my homeboy
Daryl pound on my heart-
02:12:46
Michelle:
So yeah, that's the vain part of it. But to be beautiful in other ways you know
I work on my soul. I make sure that my heart's in the right place. Thank you.
Thank you.
02:13:12
Michelle:
I'm just working on you know, looking beautiful so that I can be pleasing to
the eyes than you know, I get down to pound on my face so that I can look hot.
Now if I want to be beautiful-feel beautiful, than I have to work on my soul,
that's something that's spirit and that, that I work on by just making sure
my heart's in the right place when I do things.
02:13:43
Michelle:
I always ask myself-you ask yourself, why do I do what I do and why am I doing
what I'm doing right now? Is my heart in the right place. Why?
02:13:57
Michelle:
Then you'll see a smile on my face. If I say no, then I'll be like and you'll
be like that ain't real, that ain't cute, and it ain't beautiful because it's
not coming from the heart, so like at the end of the day it's like you know
you'll know, you'll see it in my face.
02:14:44
Michelle:
I usually just come to these things, I have like a, a juice, and go home.
02:14:57
Michelle poses for picture.
02:15:07
Michelle poses for pictures/walks into club.
02:15:25
Michelle speaks with couple.
02:15:32
Michelle:
Have fun tonight okay?
02:15:38
Michelle mingles through crowd.
02:15:55
Michelle:
Speaks Spanish to a couple.
02:16:07
Michelle:
New marriage right here, that's hot.
02:16:18
Michelle:
That's hot man break it down, good to see you.
02:16:30
Michelle:
Ally, cheers, nice meeting you.
02:16:45
Michelle mingles into the room with projection on screen.
02:17:06
Michelle and Richard talk in Spanish, Michelle is introduced to other people.
02:17:31
Michelle:
So you want to say? Want to, want to ask Richard something? Because I kind of
feel awkward like being in front of the camera and not-
02:17:46
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Michelle is not only obviously a beautiful woman, she's
a confident woman, who makes Latinas proud. She has, has literally two thirds
of the Caribbean, the Dominican, the Puerto Ricans, so proud of her, and she's
always, always an original. Always honest, she I have a friend of mine who has
described someone else by comparing to Michelle. She, you may not want to know
what she says but it's always the truth. It's unvarnished, unfiltered, and it's
completely free, she doesn't have to remember what she says-
02:18:14
Michelle:
Beep beep!
02:18:15
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) It's always the truth, it's a very powerful thing to
be able to be so comfortable in your own skin, you always be honest, that's
powerful, that's Michelle.
02:18:24
Michelle:
Damn he's good.
02:18:26
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) I'm better naked.
02:18:27
Michelle:
Too bad you make so much money doing what you do, you'd be a fucking amazing
agent.
02:18:33
Richard:
(People Espanol Editor) Agent? I'd rather be a manager. You'd give me twenty
percent.
02:18:54
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) She's pretty loud. I'm catching up.
02:19:06
Michelle:
Ishkidada.
02:19:08
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) Michelle was born to be a muse for millions of people already,
and at some point she realized with that comes a certain style. So she's taken
it upon herself and she's doing a brilliant job of researching it, not like
most celebrities, she's actually studying it and taking her time to do it and
we've been close for a long time, and-
02:19:27
Michelle:
Tell them about the lions!
02:19:29
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) You mean the tigers and the lions? Well part of the line
is also inspired by animals, because we have a charity together and we, it's
a sanctuary for, a refugee for animals, so we're inspired by that, we're using
the prints from it and-
02:19:41
Michelle:
Tell them what kind of, of cats.
02:19:44
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) We have one is a baby tiger which is only nine months, which
is only two months old, we've got thirty nine-
02:19:49
Michelle:
Pictures of, of women that work with the cats kissing the lions! Kissing the
tigers.
02:19:59
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) Naked.
02:20:00
Michelle:
Mouth to mouth. You know how hot that is? Do you know what that means? Tell
them Jon tell them what the animals are here for.
02:20:07
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) The animals are here to protect us, and you know it's important
that we take care of them, particularly the ones that have become extinct, and
I think we have such a connection to nature, it's a fantastic opportunity to
give back, and plus she's also helping orphanages now so we have a real actress
in the house, you know? Not just somebody who talks about it, she does it.
02:20:30
Michelle:
Oh wait I'm not black. Hey wait I do have African in me, a little bit.
02:20:40
Michelle:
Yeah well see the name of the benefit that I want to create is like a mother
hub that we're involved in and my friend Eric brought this up to me a long time
ago, and what I want to do is create a foundation that everybody goes to to
donate time. They don't give any money, they just give their time whether it's
a photo shoot, promoting a line of clothes where that, where they get paid for
it and that money goes to a charity or whether they sign autographs or give
a script or give clothes that they've worn in a movie or something that's worth
money that some idiot will buy on E Bay for like ten thousand dollars, we can
donate that money and you didn't even have to give anything you know? So we
want to create a foundation like that, my friend Eric came up with the idea
a long time ago, and I brought it to Jon:'s attention, he wants it to happen
quick and the point of it is sell your soul to nature, you know, I felt like
that's really the epitome of it. We sit there and we sell our soul for vanity,
we sit there and we sell our soul for fame, we sit there and we sell our soul
for what? You retards, you're not getting anything done! Let's make something
happen you know what I mean? It's hot.
02:21:48
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) So it's fashion with a conscious. And, and the thing is
it's not just about the money, it's also educating the next generation how to
take care of our planet and each other. So she's very hands on about it, we're
going to Orlando to take care of the animals as well.
02:22:01
Michelle:
We're not tree huggers, we're tree humpers, it's hotter.
02:22:09
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) And they pay to watch.
02:22:10
Michelle:
Yeah right on.
What are your plans for the rest of your time in New York?
02:22:27
Michelle:
I'm not really doing anything out here, you know, this is pretty much it.
02:22:38
Michelle:
Like if you wanted to hang with me, you need to go clubbing with me. Like after
this I'm going clubbing with Adriana, one of my best friends, Hannah, one of
my best friends, and a couple models and we just go party.
02:22:52
Michelle:
We just dance, we go sweat. Now I can't do anything. What you got to understand
about the business is that you can't really be yourself most of the time and
when you are yourself they either think you're crazy, drunk, or something. Like
when I dance I dance to sweat, I dance to release, I dance to celebrate. People
don't get that here. I do that here they think I'm looking for attention or
something so I got to hide and be quiet you know?
See what I mean?
Do you think w/ the recent DUI charge that people avoid asking you if you want a drink or do they want you as their new drinking buddy?
02:23:32
Michelle:
Yeah, that, that whole peer pressure bit, it worked in high school, but now
that I'm a woman it doesn't fly, it kind of actually makes you look weak, doesn't
work. But if it were use a useable excuse I'd use it and I'd go have a drink,
but it's not. Sucks to grow up, comes with all this responsibility. It's a bitch.
I can't just sit on my ass and complain about things anymore. I have to actually
get out there and be proactive. It sucks in many ways but it's good in others
you know? I feel good about myself now. Yeah.
How do you react to these type of high-end celebrity promotional parties?
02:25:24
Michelle:
I love it for a minute and then I'm over it and ready to like go to my friends.
That's why I have people like Adriana and Hannah in my life and you know like
and Giancarlo my business partner he hates these things, he never comes unless
like there's important people that can get a business deal done he will not
show up. I'm basically the sacrifice you know? But um, here's the thing it's
like you're not really allowed to be yourself in these places so you know people
like Richard I keep tight, I have a handful of people that if none of them-if
none of that handful of public eye people are there than I don't go out, because
it's like I get attacked all the time for being myself. Oh, excuse me, I'm human.
Ooops.
02:26:17
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) If she gets any free time, she's a real scholar, people
don't know that. She's the most-she really is a scholar-
02:26:25
Michelle:
I never even graduated high school he's not talking about that.
02:26:28
Jon:
(Michelle's Friend) No it's true though, she is probably more aware of our history
and culture than people that have masters. Because she's passionate about people.
