Character Info
When Hondo, a veteran S.W.A.T. officer, is assigned to assemble a new young "hot shot" S.W.A.T. team, he hand picks his recruits. One of them is Chris Sanchez, a hard as nails street cop by day and caring young single mother by night. The team successfully completes their training despite the constant reluctance and ridicule by the department chief. A friendship and semi-relationship forms between Chris and her fellow S.W.A.T. member Street. The team is assigned to protect a French drug kingpin who has offered a $100 million reward to anyone who can free him from the cops. They struggle through the ambushes and attacks as they transport the prisoner. There are casualties along the way as one of the team members is seriously wounded, a traitor amongst them is revealed, and Chris is also shot (though not seriously injured). The team succeeds in the end despite the opposition and mistrust via the chief as they have proven themselves as the best S.W.A.T. has to offer.
